I will make this dessert for dinner tonight. The ingredients are easily available & the instructions are very easy to follow. Looks delicious, easy, pleasing.
Making creme brulee was always a mystery for me, until I've got this book. This book has step by step pictures how to create this wonderful dessert. I'm going to try it right after I'll get all gadgets and ingredients.
I haven't made the recipe yet, but my daughter and I loved the story book format of this yummy looking recipe. The chef (who looks like chef-boy-R-Dee) looks like he is having fun and that makes me want to get a kitchen torch right away.
Chef Val shares a quicker, more "Americanized" version of creme brulee which I wouldn't recommend for me. But for you? You may just love it! Most people do. ) And at the end of the little book he does share a link to a more authentic recipe which also sounds yummy!
I love creme brulee but suck at making it. I have tried this recipe and it was simple to make and tasted very nice. The directions are easy to follow with plenty of pictures.
I didn't have the right equipment to do the last part, but that didn't matter. My husband enjoyed it too.
I'm a big fan of George Puckett's recipes. I wouldn't call it a recipe book as it is just one recipe, but George goes into detail on how to make the item, showing you all the ingredients and how to put them together. This is much better than just a recipe listed with directions. The pictures are what make these single recipe books worth the price.
